PROF. EUPHEMIA C. NWOKORIE

Professor Euphemia Nwokorie is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Owerri (FUTO), Imo State Nigeria, and has served as Head of the Computer Science Department. She holds PhD and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Port Harcourt, and BSc (First Class Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Chioma is a member of many local and internal professional associations including, Institute of Electrical Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), Organisation of Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD, Nigerian Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT), Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) where she has held various leadership positions
Euphemia is a public speaker and presenter, has a passion for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Governance and Risks; and has delivered numerous papers at conferences, seminars, and workshops on the subjects. She has been involved in many research works and has published numerous articles in several journals.
Previously, Euphemia worked at Metallurgical Institute Onitsha where she occupied Middle Management and Senior Management positions providing systems programming and data analytics solutions to the organization.
